Pro-life advocates throughout the state have battled for months in opposition to SB 320, the bill that will force all UC and CSU student health centers to provide chemical abortions to students.
The decision to kill the bill or send it to the Assembly floor for a final vote is now in the hands of Assembly Appropriations Committee Chair Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher. Her decision is expected to be announced on Thursday.
SB 320 is a flawed and dangerous bill. There is no need to duplicate readily available community services. Long-term costs and who will pay them are still undetermined. Concerns about student safety and university liability have, thus far, been brushed off. Please call Assemblymember Lorena Gonzalez Fletcher and urge her to vote NO on SB 32o.
